Sailing between Bodrum & Gocek
This is the jewel in the crown of Turkish sailing. There are safe creeks and marinas every few miles with waterside restaurants to welcome you as well. The towns of Palamut, Datça, and Bozburun are there to welcome you in the northern part of this large area. Further south there is Marmaris and then the glorious bay of Goçek.
The gulf of Gulluk to the east of Bodrum offers a week's cruise in its own right. The more adventurous will head across the bay to Knidos and the gulf of Symi. A one-way from Bodrum to Marmaris is first prize.

Yacht Marina Marmaris
Description
Although not cheap, this is a thoroughly competent operation with all necessary professional services on hand. We wintered there very happily in 2017/18. It is a dolmus trot into town, and getting there by plane is via Dalaman - a longish bus trip. Other than that if is warmy recommended. See our Services section for more details.

Completely protected but very popular with charterers and flotillas, this small bay is often overwhelmed. However the restaurant is good and the surroundings a pleasure.

Very few places on the town pier. If you can get one, grab it. Gumusluk is for the locals and is quite charming. Some of the waterside restaurants are among the prettiest we have seen anywhere in Turkey. Great ice cream 'dondurma) vendor as well.
