Marinas in Mediterranean France
France has three main sailing areas in the Mediterranean.
The South-East coast from Marseilles all the way down to the level of Perpignan is devoid of sailing interest, but blessed with numerous, sheltered modern marinas.
The coast from Marseilles east makes up for that, is attractive, and equally well endowed with competent marinas, not always that expensive.
Corsica is one of Europe's great sailing destinations, often over-looked by English speakers.
You can charter a yacht in many parts of France, but the charter fleets are small given the size of the population. Corsica is consistently fully booked in July and August.
