IONIAN Yacht Holidays
This is very much beginners paradise, particularly the southern part, often known as the Inland Sea. Winds are mostly light, and rarely more than moderate. Anchorages are numerous, as are small towns with yacht quays and lots of little restaurants. It is very beautiful.
That's the good news for some. The bad news is that it is so popular that places to overnight fill up ridiculously early so it is not always easy to get a whole day's sailing and you must assume that average skipper standards will not be that high - expect regular snarled anchor chains and more.
North of Preveza over-crowding is less acute on the mainland, but on Paxos it is serious.

This is a very different experience to chartering bareboat and then hiring a skipper. The offer runs from simple 40 foot monohulls to super luxury fully crewed craft - mainly catamarans.
