Cala dei Sardi is the largest eco-friendly floating landing in the heart of the Costa Smeralda, in Sardinia. It is located in the Gulf of Cugnana between Portisco and Porto Rotondo. The Marina offers moorings from 6 to 60 meters with a draft from 3 to 6.80 meters. and it is equipped with all services on the quay (electricity, water and Wi-Fi) and on the ground (showers, bar and restaurant, shuttle / taxi, yacht service, free parking area and video surveillance). In the Marina there is also a fantastic and comfortable floating platform for those who want to swim in crystal clear waters or sunbathe, immersed in the natural beauty of the Costa Smeralda. Thanks to its position, sailing from Cala dei Sardi by boat you can easily reach the most beautiful beaches and landscapes of Sardinia, such as the Archipelago of Maddalena and Corsica. Furthermore, Cala dei Sardi is a safe harbor where you can leave your boat to visit and discover the hinterland of one of the most beautiful regions in Italy. It is also very convenient for its proximity to Olbia airport, just 16 km away. In the Marina is based the NSS Charter, a company specialized in the rental of sailing boats. A few years ago a restaurant was built on the sea and the construction of the breakwater around the piers is planned to provide greater protection for yachts in all months. From this year, the Marina offers an area dedicated to "four-legged friends" where they can have fun together with their owners.
The marina is the base for the large NSS charter fleet, so forget it on Fridays and Saturdays. The pontoon is broadside on to the prevailing winds in the gulf so very rolly. There are no provisions on site and only limited eating out options. You need to go to nearby Portisco marina, but the transfer costs €15 each way and is not always available.
Although Portisco costs more, add in the transfer cost and you will conclude, (as we did), that you are better off in the marina.
